Vacation With Serrapeptase

Everyone experiences pain. But whether from an injury or disease as we age, pain can be debilitating and limit our freedom. The worst is when pain hits during vacation!

Enerex Serrapeptase was the first of its kind, introduced into the Canadian market back in 2004. It’s been proven to be safe and effective as it acts as an anti-inflammatory and a pain blocker similar to NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs such as aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen) but without the harmful stomach effects. Enerex uses a DRcap (Delayed Release capsule), free from chemicals and solvents and better masks odors and tastes minimizing the risk of reflux, rather than an enteric coated capsule. This allows the Serrapeptase to pass through the stomach to the small intestine where the enzyme is then released. For optimal results Serrapeptase should be taken on an empty stomach.

What does a stuffy nose, an infection and post-operative swelling have in common?

They’re all initially caused by inflammation.

Our bodies have a love-hate relationship with inflammation: it is a natural response necessary to protect the body and aid the healing process, but it also causes pain and swelling, mucous build-up, and increases the symptoms of infections such as redness, burning and heat. Excessive inflammation in the body can also limit joint function, destroy bone, and lead to heart and nervous system trouble.

How does it work?

Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme, meaning it breaks down protein and protein by-products, non-living tissue. Serrapeptase is able to breakdown dead tissue without harming living tissue. Having this ability also allows it to thin out fluids and mucous allowing the body a faster recovery time from injuries and dental surgery.

Research has shown Serrapeptase’s effectiveness in reducing pain, inflammation and swelling associated with osteoarthritis, joint pain, carpel tunnel syndrome, post-operative swelling, and pain from dental surgery.

Enerex Serrapeptase uses a high activity enzyme for greater effectiveness and our special Delayed Release capsule protects the enzyme from destruction by stomach acid to ensure you get the relief you require.

Who should take Serrapeptase?

If you have chronic inflammation or pain, Serrapeptase acts as an anti-inflammatory. It does not have the side effects associated with NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as salicylate and ibuprofen). If you have swelling, it can reduce fluid retention (edema), and post-operative swelling, and can help bring relief if you have sinus issues like sinusitis or throat ailments. Research has shown that Serrapeptase can also help to break up and remove other types of tissue. Serrapeptase has been used to support antibiotics because it can dissolve bacterial “biofilms” (a common cause of persistent infections) and increase the absorption/concentration of the antibiotic in the body.
