Gemmotherapy

 

Commonly referred to as "bud medicine," gemmotherapy is part of the large family of phytotherapies, which aim to prevent and treat a variety of health problems using plants.

Derived from the Latin term "gemma," meaning both bud and gemstone, gemmotherapy exclusively uses fresh embryonic tissues from plants, trees, and shrubs, namely buds, young shoots, and rootlets.
